About Katharine Story

Katharine Story is a California-born designer with a flagship boutique in Laguna Beach, California — open by appointment for over 30 years. Her label embodies global luxury fashion through bold, hand-dyed textiles, flowing silhouettes, and exceptional couture craftsmanship.

Her collections merge consciously sourced vintage fabrics with custom-designed textiles, hand-beading, and artisanal techniques that revive heritage crafts for the modern world. The result is fashion that feels both timeless and deeply of-the-moment.

From Laguna Beach to Miami, Houston, and across the Mediterranean — Ibiza, the South of France, and beyond — Katharine brings her collections to life through international pop-ups, private events, and appointments with clients who have followed her work for decades.

She has shown at Milan Fashion Week, Art Basel Miami, Rome Fashion Week, and the Ibiza Fashion Festival. In 2024, she served as Creative Director of the Laguna Beach Art Museum Sustainable Fashion Exhibition.
